  WELL KNOWN FARMER DIES NEAR ELMIRA Wendell Martin, Aged 48, Victim of Pneumonia. - Funeral Largely Attended. Mr. Wendell Martin, aged 48 years, died suddenly on Sunday, a victim of pneumonia. The late Mr. Martin, who resides on the farm, the old homestead, just on the northern outskirts of Elmira was taken ill on Wednesday. He leaves to mourn him besides his wife, two sons and two daughters. His aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Martin, two brothers, Norman near Elmira and Amos near Floradale, four sisters, Mrs. Amos Martin of near West Montrose, Mrs. Oliver Shantz of near Yatton, Mrs. Amassa Martin of near Floradale and Mrs. Alvin Martin of near Waterloo. The funeral took place on Wednesday morning from his late residence to the Elmira Mennonite Church for services. Interment was made in the Elmira Mennonite cemetery.
