      Moses M. Martin, 73, died Monday July 27 at the home of his son, Eden RR 2, Elmira, after a lengthy illness. Born in Woolwich Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Moses C. Martin. He had been a farmer here for the past 48 years. Surviving are his wife the former Rebecca Martin; six sons, Orville of RR 4, Elmira, Cleason, RR 1, Elmira, Clarence and Melvin, RR 2, Drayton, Edgar, RR 2, West Montrose, and Eden, RR 2, Elmira; two daughters, Mrs. David (Elsie) Brubacher, RR 1, West Montrose, and Vietta at home; two brothers, Ervin, RR 1, Waterloo, and Cleason, RR 4, Elmira; two sisters, Mrs. Amos (Magdalena) Martin RR 1, Elmira, and Mrs. Ervin (Marion) Clemmer, RR 3, Waterloo; 39 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Four brothers predeceased him. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, until 5 p.m. Wednesday when removal was made to the home of his son, Eden, RR 2, Elmira, for service at 8: 30 a.m. standard time Thursday. Another service followed at the Elmira Mennonite Meeting House. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
