  Daniel B. Baumann, "the eldest son of Levi Baumann, was born in Woolwich Township, Waterloo County, April 6th, 1840. On March 24th, 1863, he was married to Magdalena, daughter of John W. and Catharine (Martin) Brubacher. She was born March 15th, 1844. They reside near Floradale on part of lot No. 99 German Company's Tract, Woolwich Township. Their family consists of six children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ___________________ FLORADALE Another of the old residents of this neighborhood passed away last Saturday in the person of Daniel B Bowman. Deceased had several paralytic strokes, the last of which, about a year and a half ago, left him helpless and his mind practically a blank, so that he had to be tended like an infant. He was of the old Mennonite stock, plain, honest, upright, and industrious. He leaves, to mourn his departure, his widow, one daughter (Mrs. Samuel Horst residing near West Montrose) and four sons. These are: - Noah, living in Preston; Levi, on the old homestead; Enos, of Ayton: and Addison, of Niagara Falls, N.Y. Besides these several brothers and sisters and a large number of relatives survive him. The funeral on Tuesday was one of the largest ever witnessed in the neighborhood.
