  SHANTZ, Edna Marie Peacefully, at Nithview Home, New Hamburg, on Monday, Aug. 31, 1992, Mrs. Edna Shantz (Schneider), formerly of Hallman Road, Waterloo, age 96 years. In her early years, Edna taught at North Wilmot and Breslau public schools. She and her late husband Russell farmed in Wilmot township and on Hallman Road in Waterloo for many years before their retirement. She was a member of Lincoln Heights Missionary Church. Loving mother of Don and his wife Emma of Waterloo, Stewart and his wife Glenna of New Dundee, Grace and her husband Ken Rouse of Waterloo. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Cindy Graham, Karen Pike, Kevin and Mark Shantz, Rebecca and Jonathon Rouse and four great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her family. Predeceased by her parents, John and Augusta Schneider, her husband, Russell in 1991; three brothers, Norman in infancy, Edwin and George Schneider. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Rev.
