Notes |
- Elizabeth Martin, "the eldest in family, was born November 7th, 1830. On October 4th, 1854, she was married to Peter, son of Bishop Henry and Lydia (Martin) Shantz. They reside on a beautiful farm in Woolwich Township, adjoining the northern boundary of Waterloo Township, about four miles north-west of the town of Waterloo. They have no family."
Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
