• Notes

  Mrs. Ann Crooks, daughter of Robert and Isabella Barton, was born in the village of Churchill, County Fermanagh, Ireland, May 11, 1798, and raised in the Church of England, but joined the Primitive Methodist church on the Eniskillen Circuit in 1814. In 1841, she came to Canada with her husband and children, settling in Chinguacousey, where she joined the New Connexion Church. In 1849, she moved to Wellesley twp., where she joined the Welseyan Church. She died, July 23, 1869; survived by her husband and children. Christian Guardian Newspaper 24 Nov 1869 pg 187
