      ______________________

On Monday, the wife of August Stoltz, of Mannheim, died here at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Adam Becker. She suffered from a nasty ulcer and had been living in Berlin for several months. She leaves eight grown children: Alfred and Mrs. Adam Becker in Berlin; Alexander and Edward in Mannheim, Reverend August F., a missionary in Africa; Mrs. Conrad Hahn in Linwood; Mrs. C. Winhold in Tavistock; and Mrs. W. Lautenschläger in Petersburg. In addition, two brothers still live, respectively, in Parkhill and Blenheim. Burial takes place today, Thursday, in Mannheim. The "Journal" expresses its sympathy to her husband and other remaining survivors.
