• Notes

  Henry F. Bowman, 67, of R.R. 2, Waterloo, died Wednesday last at his home after a lengthy illness. Born April 4, 1888, in Woolwich Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Bowman. His first wife, Hannah Weber, predeceased him in 1939. Surviving are his second wife, the former Mrs. Anne Weber; two daughters, Mrs. Amon (Mary) B. Martin and Mrs. Edwin (Elvina) M. Lichty, R.R. 1, Waterloo; three brothers, John F. and Solomon. R.R. 1, Wallenstein and Joshua, R.R. 4, Elmira. Also six sisters, Mrs. Elias Weber and Mrs. Katie Martin of Heidelberg, Mrs. Jeremiah Martin, St. Jacobs; Mrs. Nancy Bauman, R.R. 2, Drayton; Mrs. Moses Bauman, R.R. 2, Wallenstein and Mrs. Lydian Weber, R.R. 1, Wallenstein. Eight stepchildren and nine grandchildren also survive. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor. Elmira, until Friday at 10 a.m. Removal was made to the residence where the funeral was conducted Saturday at 9 a.m. Removal was then be made to Martin's Mennonite Meeting House for a further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
