  JOSHUA BOWMAN Joshua Bowman, 71, of RR 4, Elmira. died suddenly at his home Thursday, January 5. Born in Peel Township, Dec. 24, 1889, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Bowman. He married Judith Gingrich in 1915. She died in 1948. He later married Ida Brubacker, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Milton (Annie) Martin of RR 4, Elmira; Mrs. Samuel (Melvina) Martin of RR 2, Elmira, and 11 grandchildren. Three daughters predeceased him. The body was at the home. where the funeral was conducted Saturday. Removal was made to the South Peel Mennonite meeting house for a memorial service. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
