  Died, Mrs. David Gingerich Passed peacefully away at her home here on Tuesday, June 30th, at the age of 77 years, 1 month and 11 days, death being due to the infirmities of old age, Deceased's maiden name was Elizabeth Opfer, and she was born in Germany, coming to Canada with her parents at the age of 10 years, when the family settled here. In 1861 she was married to Mr. David Gingerich and for many years they resided in Wilmot Centre, where her husband was sawyer in Mr. J. Ratz's sawmill, about 29 years ago they retired and came to New Hamburg, where they resided since. They had no children and she is survived by her husband and other relatives. She was a consistent member of the Evangelical church and highly respected by all as a kindly old lady. The funeral will take place from her late residence, Peel street, this afternoon at 1.30 o'clock to the Evangelical church for service. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
