    • Death of Bernard Eichler.

      The death took place at his home here early on Wednesday morning. March 26th, of Mr. Bernard Eichler, at the age of 75 years About three years ago he suffered a paralytic stroke, which rendered him helpless and speechless, and he had since been confined to his home. The late Mr. Eichler was born in Haysville where he spent his youth. He removed to New Hamburg about fifty years ago and engaged in the teaming business which he carried on until he was stricken three years ago. He was well and favorably known throughout this neighborhood. He was twice married. His first wife (Francis Pogson) predeceased him about 38 years ago. He leaves to mourn his death his wife and fourteen children, namely Henry. Fred, Charles. Mrs. Morris Michm and Mrs. Lorne Riehl of this town, Mrs. (Rev.) Ernst Reick of Kendall, N.Y.. Mrs. Jack Berry of Kitchener, and George, Robert, Edward. Louis, Ernst, Annie and Sophia at home. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon from his late residence to Trinity Lutheran Church for service, followed by Interment in Riverside cemetery.

      Died At New Hamburg, on Wednesday, March 26th, 1924, Bernhard Eichler Aged 75 years, 3 months and 28 days. The Funeral Will take place from his late residence on Sunday, March 30th, at 2 o'clock p.m., to Trinity Lutheran Church for service, thence to Riverside Cemetery. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation.
