  DIED AT BADEN Rebecca, Daughter of Mr. James Livingston, M. P., Passes Away The sad news was received in town on Saturday, of the death of Miss Rebecca, third daughter of Mr. Jas. Livingston, the popular and esteemed M.P. for South Waterloo. The deceased young lady passed away at a few minutes after twelve o'clock, Friday evening. For about a year and a half she had been ailing from a lingering illness and during the past few weeks suffered much pain. Miss Livingston was in the 27th year of her age. She was an amiable young lady, of an affectionate disposition and her untimely demise will be received by the many friends of the family, in all parts of the county, with very great regret. Miss Livingston, in addition to her numerous good qualities, possessed a bright mind. She studied for some years at the Brantford Ladies' College, of which institution she was an honored graduate. Owing to the extreme illness of his daughter during the past few weeks and the uncertainty of her life. Mr. Livingston, M.P., has been prevented from attending regularly to his parliamentary duties and all friends will extend their sympathy. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, to the Baden cemetery and was one of the largest ever seen in Baden. The Weekly Reformer 4 Jul 1895 pg 3
