  James H. Maguire The news was received here announcing the death of James H. Maguire, a former well known resident of New Hamburg. His death occurred on Saturday last at the home of his brother-in-law in Ingersoll following a month's illness. The deceased was aged 59 years and was for many years a resident of New Hamburg, carrying on a blacksmith business here for many years. About 18 years ago he went to Woodstock and later to Ingersoll. Many friends in New Hamburg were sorry to learn of his demise. His wife predeceased him about five years ago, but he leaves one daughter, Elisabeth in Ingersoll, and one sister, Mrs. Samuel Smith, of Spirit River, Alberta. The funeral was held on Tuesday morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart at Ingersoll followed by interment in the R. C. Cemetery New Hamburg Independent, January 17, 1930
