  DEATH OF MRS. ERB. Word was received here Monday afternoon, by Mr. Thos Jackson Sr. of the death, through a paralytic stroke, of Mrs. Erb at Cranford, New Jersey, whither she had gone from there to reside with her daughter, Mrs. Chas. Shaw. The deceased is a niece of Mrs. Jackson, and was born and married at Durham, but later moving to Berlin. After the death of her husband at that place four years ago, she moved to Clinton with her children. Here she lived for two years in Mr. Jackson's residence on Huron street. Her eldest daughter. getting married and moving to Cranford, persuaded her mother to follow, which she did, but unfortunately after arriving there ill-health came upon her, she suffering three strokes, the last terminating in death, seven children are bereft of their only remaining parent, three are married, three at home and the youngest child, Ida is living with her aunt Mrs. Jackson who with this little one were in attendance at the funeral held at Berlin on Thursday, the remains having been brought through so as to be interred beside the remains of her husband.
