    • Charles Ritz - New Hamburg

      Charles Ritz, 74, an employee of the Ritz Foundry for 25 years and of the Hahn Brass Company for 26 years, died on Tuesday noon after a month's illness. He was born in New Hamburg on March 25, 1865, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Ritz. He attended Holy Family R. C. church. For the past ten years he lived retired. Surviving are two sons, Charles, Jr. of New Hamburg, and Linus of Pittsburg; four sisters, Mrs. Wilbert Jackson of St. George, Mrs. Mansell Collins of London, Mrs. Ella Vanderbrook and Mrs. Herman Krogman, both of New Hamburg, a brother, John Ritz of New Hamburg, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral is being held at Holy Family R. C. church this (Friday) morning at ten o'clock with Father Winter officiating. Burial in Riverside R. C. cemetery.
