    • Steinman.- Samuel, son of the late Jacob and Barbara (Miller) Steinman, was born at New Hamburg, Ont., May 20, 1882; died at his daughter's home, Kitchener, June 14, 1968; aged 86 y. 25 d. In 1907 he was married to Barbara Gascho, who survives. Also surviving are 2 children (Lloyd and Verna-Mrs. Edward Kipfer), 2 grandchildren, one brother, and one sister. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. He was a member of the Steinman Church, where funeral services were held June 17, with Emanuel Steinman and Elmer Schwartzentruber officiating.

      Samuel Steinman. 299 Waterloo St., died Friday night at the home of his daughter in Kitchener. He was 86.

      A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Steinman he farmed in New Hamburg all his life. He was a member of the Steinman Mennonite Church, the New Hamburg Turf Club, the Canadian Percheron Society, the New Hamburg public school board, and the Wilmot Agricultural Society.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Barbara Gascho whom he married March 26, 1907, one son. Lloyd of New Hamburg: one daughter. Mrs. Edward (Verna) Kipfcr and a brother. Aaron Steinman. both of Kitchener: a sister. Mrs. Mary Jantzi of New Hamburg, and two grandsons. He was predeceased by one brother and a sister

      The body was at the Bruce J Omand Funeral Home. New Hamburg until noon Monday when removal was made to the Steinman Mennonite Church for service at 3 p. m. Rev. Elmer Swartzentruber officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
