    • Died At Sarnia

      The death of a former resident of New Hamburg, Mr. Louis Pieper, occurred at Sarnia last Friday at the age of 80 years. Mr. Pieper and family came here from Brandon, Man., in 1898, when Mr. Ed. Merner also came east to start the Hamburg Felt Boot Company. Mr. Pieper was an expert feltmaker. While here the family were active members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mr. Pieper being church secretary for some years. The family moved to Sarnia 26 years ago. Besides his widow, the deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. F.A. Kraus, Sarnia, and one son, William, of Stratford. The funeral took place at Sarnia on Monday
