  A lengthy illness ended in death yesterday for Jacob J. Baechler, 23 Peppler St., Waterloo. Born in Alma, he was 79. Mr. Baechler was born Jan.28, 1874. Retired, he was a member of St. Louis RC Church and the Holy Name Society. Surviving are two sons, Edwin of Renfrew and Clarence of Waterloo; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Loretta) Wahl and Mrs. Alex (Gloria) Kraft of Kitchener and Mrs. C. (Florence) Rejesky of Waterloo; one brother, August of British Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Mary Dintinger of London, Ont.; and three grandchildren. The body is at the Walsh Funeral Home where prayers will be said Monday at 9.45 a.m. followed by requiem high mass at 10 o'clock at St. Louis Church. Interment will be in Woodland Mausoleum.
