  LINWOOD - Jacob R. Wilker, 65, of Linwood, died in Woodstock General Hospital Tuesday, Dec. 30. He had been in failing health for the past several weeks and was confined to Stratford General Hospital until about a week ago. Mr. Wilker was born in West Zorra, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wilker, and farmed on the 9th line of that township until about 18 years ago. He then moved to Woodstock for a few years and latterly had been living at Linwood. Surviving besides his wife, formerly Ella Elizabeth Krug, are one son, Floyd, London, Ont., one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Armstrong, Woodstock; four brothers, Conrad, Linwood, John, Hickson, George, East Zorra and Milton of Stratford, three sisters, Mrs. Fred Deckert, Linwood, Mrs. Emerson Kalbfleisch, West Zorra , and Mrs. Louise Sippel, Stratford; and three grandchildren. The funeral was held from the M.D. (Mac) Smith Funeral Home Friday at 2 p.m. Temporary entombment was made in Woodstock Mausoleum. The Kitchener-Waterloo Record 6 Jan 1953
