Parsel & Co., Toronto - 1881 (Village of New Hamburg entries) _____________ Died 17 Mar 1881 John Rau, brewer, died in New Hamburg at age of 46 years, 10 months and 15 days. The burial took place on Saturday in St. Agatha, with a very large attendance, which would have been even greater, if the weather had been better.
