- Morton Williams fell off the hand-car on which he ws riding, Fri. evening, near Branchton, as he was returning home from his work on theh Galt branch of the Great Western Railway. Two hand cards passed over his body, which was so badly mangled that the doctor has no hopes of his recovery. Williams is a middle-aged, married man, and served for a time in the British army.
