  WITMER, Mrs. William (Alice) On Thursday, July 8, 1982, at K-W Hospital, the former Alice Thoman, aged 68 years, of 82 Locust St., Kitchener. Dear mother of Marilyn Hallman of Kitchener, Elaine and her husband James Taylor of Brantford, Dianne and her husband Walter Braun of Kitchener, Mary Lou and her husband John Appleton of Tavistock; loving grandmother of David, Ronald, Bryan and Mark Hallman, Debra Engberg and Bradley Taylor, Brenda Hoist and Patricia Wagler, Kathleen and Robert Braun, Michelle and Alyson Roth, Carol, Donna, Joan, John and Charlene Appleton. Sister of Lloyd Thoman of Kitchener. Also survived by six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, William in 1979; her granddaughter, Connie Lou Roth in 1972; her sister, Dorothy Becker; her brother, Earl; her father, Nelson Thoman and her mother, the former Dianna Trussler. Funeral service was held at Bethany Missionary Church, Kitchener with Rev. C.E. Honking officiating. Interment Woodland cemetery. Ratz-Bechtel funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
