  DEANE, James B. Of the Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge (Preston), on Tuesday, October 19, 1976, at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, in his 89th year, James Deane, beloved husband of Elizabeth Reilly; loving father of Bart of London, Ont., James of Preston and Anne (Mrs. John Spak) of Preston. Also survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Deane was born in England and came to the Cambridge area, in 1912. He was a member of St. Clement's RC Church; also a former member of the Galt Kittle Band, Preston Silver Band, Preston Legion Band and the HLI Band. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (Preston), until Friday morning, then to St. Clement's RC Church, for funeral mass, at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Clement's cemetery, Cambridge.
