  EVANS, ANNIE (Nee Jackson) The funeral service on July 3rd at 2, with Rev. W. L. Hisey officiating, was from her Pine St., Hespeler home. She was buried in Hespeler Cemetery. Born on September 20, 1869, she died in her home on Sunday, July 1, 1945, after an illness of nine weeks. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. Jackson of Puslinch Township. A lifelong resident of this locality, she was a member of the Hespeler Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Thomas Evans; three sons, Lewis and Calvin of Puslinch; and Leonard of Sudbury; two daughters, Mrs. A. B. McCreery and Margaret Evans of Detroit; a brother Thomas Jackson of Puslinch; three sisters, Mrs. T. Amos of Guelph; Mrs. E. Lehman of Guelph; and Miss Sarah Jackson of Puslinch. Pallbearers: Arthur and Robert Evans, Edward Lehman, Melvin Wilson, Karl Gruetzner of Kitchener and Alan Wilford. -Information from the marriage certificate of Jane Jackson: She married Thomas Amos.
