- WAGLER, Mrs. William (Edna)-Suddenly, on Monday, Feb. 6, 1989, as the result of a traffic accident, at Hwy. 19, County Road 6, west of Newton.
Edna resided in Newton and was born in Wellesley township 63 years ago.
She was a daughter of the late Noah Albrecht and the late Katie Lichty. She was a member of Poole Mennonite Church, where she was active in the WMSC; also employed as a custodian at the Mornington Central Public School.
Beloved wife of William Wagler of Newton; dear mother of Elwood and his wife Florence Wagler of RR 1, Brunner, Marjorie and her husband Anthony Michelon of London, Ont., Rosemary and her husband Leo Harding of RR 2, Stratford. Beloved sister of Harvey and his wife Melinda Albrecht of RR 1, Milverton, Reuben and his wife Matilda Albrecht of RR 1, Millbank, Lydia and her husband John Schmidt of RR 1, Wallenstein, Barbara and her husband Jacob Schmidt of Newton. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Keith and Cindy Wagler. She was predeceased by four brothers.
Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Thursday, Feb. 9, removal will be made to Poole Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m., Pastor David Brubacher will officiate. Spring interment in Poole Mennonite cemetery.
Memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Mennonite Central Committee, would be appreciated by the family.
