- SCHERER, Josephine Mary
Of Rose Street, Cambridge, at her residence, on Tuesday, May 18, 1999, in her 77th year. Josephine Sebastian, beloved wife of the late Carl Scherer. Dear mother of David, Gary and Brian and his wife Pamela, all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by three grandchildren, Jason, Brett and Kearsa. Predeceased by her parents; two brothers, John and Adam and three sisters, Olga, Helen and Eva. Mrs. Scherer was born in Preston and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of St. Clement's RC Church and the CWL. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge, on Friday, May 21, 1999, at 10 a.m. A private family interment will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
