  Dear Staff of The Sunshine Centre, A facility such as yours is so impor tant to the seniors of today. Dad told us in the summer of 2003 that he had decided to sell his home of 40 years and move to The Sunshine Centre. He had been very lonely since our Mother died in 2001 and he told us that he felt that such a facility would be able to help him as his Parkinson's disease progressed. And so, in November of 2003, Dad was one of your first residents. He never looked back. Dad moved in and made many new friends. The loving care offered allowed Dad to live with dignity and continue to make his own decisions about life. Our beloved Father, Dr. Rix Wyatt, died on February 19, 2005. And so, even though it is hard for us to go on without our beloved Father, we want to thank all of you for your respect and friendship that you showed to our Father over the 14 months that he lived amongst you. We will be forever grateful for both a Wonderful facility such as yours but also the friendship offered to Dad by all of your staff. We know he treasured this.
