  MRS. H. H. RUPPEL Mrs. H. H. Ruppel of Tavistock, died on Sunday morning at the age of 81 years and 17 days. In 1944, just before Christmas, she broke her hip and has been failing since the accident. Mrs. H. H. Ruppel was born in St. Jacobs as Catherine Schlitt. In 1880 she married Henry Ruppel and for two years lived in Elmira and then moved to Tavistock, where she has resided ever since. She is survived by three brothers, William, St. Jacobs; John, Kitchener; Harry, Tavistock. Her husband predeceased her on Jan. 10th, 1944, Funeral services were held from her late home in Tavistock on Tuesday afternoon with service in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tavistock. and interment in St. Paul's Cemetery. Those attending the funeral from here were: Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ruppel, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weichel; Mr. and Mrs. Hilbert Weichel; Mrs. Fred Forwell; Mrs. Oscar Weichel; Mrs. Harry Heimbecker; Mrs. Harry Weichel and Mrs. Alvin Brubacher.
