  MANNHEIM News Notes. - The funeral of the late Mr. George Schneller, which was held at the Lutheran church on Thursday of last week, was largely attended. Mr. Schneller was one of the early pioneers of this community. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved ones. Quite a number from here attended the funeral of Mr. Charles Poll, at Berlin. The late Mr. Poll lived in our village for some years and his mother still resides here. The bereaved family and relatives have our deepest sympathy. The Chronicle Telegraph, 2 Sep 1909, p. 4
