  Henry B. Betzner "was born March 11th, 1859. He is married to Veronica Snider. They reside in Bluffton, Indiana, where he and his brother David are in partnership in the manufacturing of slippers. His family consists of five children". Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. __________________________ Betzner - Henry B. Betzner, of Kitchener, Ont., died Jan. 5, 1933; aged 73 y. 9 m. 25 d. He was married to Fanny Snider, who, with a son, Ira of New York City, and daughter, Una, 2 brothers, David B. and Eliab, all of Kitchener, survive, together with many friends and relatives. He was stricken very suddenly, while attending a union service at Zion Evangelical church. With his daughter he had barely seated himself, seemingly well, when death took him in a moment, as reported by a physician, who happened to be present. The family had lived for a number of years, in Elkhart and Van Buren, Ind., but had again returned to their native city. He was widely known, of genial disposition, was respected in church and community circles. He had accepted Christ as his Savior, joined the United Church of Canada, had become an elder and also a member of the Board of Trustees of that church. Funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Mr. Logan at Trinity United Church. Interment in the first Mennonite Church cemetery, Kitchener, Ont Obituary - Gospel Herald, February 16, 1933
