      Citizen of Preston and district were grieved today when they learned of the death at 3.10 o'clock this morning of Charles Blum, who for many years has been a resident of Preston. The late Mr. Blum has been in failing health for some years, but this week his condition became worse and he gradually sank until the end came. He was in his 31st year. Besides his mother, Mrs. Shropshire, there survive a twin brother Albert, four sisters, Mrs. Bucknell, Mrs. J. O’Connell;, both of Detroit, Mrs. H. Yule of Preston and Mrs. C. Doherty of Dundas. The funeral will take place, Monday morning from the late residence 141 West King street, at nine o'clock. Services will be held in St. Clement's church and interment will follow later in Preston cemetcry.
