      MRS. FERDINAND VON ENDE

      Mrs. Ferdinand Von Ende, 729 Hamilton street, Preston, died at her home at two o'clock this morning after a year's illness. She was wellknown and was a highly respected citizen for about 35 years.

      A daughter of the late Charles Ahrens of Kitchener, the late Mrs. Von Ende came to Preston following her marriage in Kitchener, then Berlin. She was 78 years of age. Mrs. Von Ende was a member of the Church of the New Jerusalem in Kitchener.

      Surviving are her husband, seven sisters and three brothers.

      The funeral will be private and will be from residence at 2.30 o'clock Friday afternoon. Internment will be made in Preston cemetery. Rev. W. H. Knauff of St. Peter's church, Preston, will officiate.
