  Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, 23 Aug 2015: Passed away at his residence in Glen Allan on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the age of 62 years. Ben Springer was the beloved husband of Pamela Steacy. Deeply missed by Pam's children Joseph, Jerry, Timothy, Jason, and Thomas (Sophia), and 10 grandchildren. Dear brother of Gladys Challis, Bert Springer (Elsie), Clifford Springer (Georgina), Elsie Howey (Michael), Rose Falkingham, Bill Springer (Lorraine), Pat Price (Ben), Gord Springer (Sherry), and Rob Pendleton (Jen). Lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Diane Springer, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jay and Beatrice (Brodie) Springer, his brother Roy, his sister Eleanor, and two siblings in infancy Lloyd and Alice. Ben was employed at Knights of Meaford for the majority of his working career. Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
