PRESTON, Sept. 30. Well-known lifelong resident of Preston, Miss May Schlueter, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Schlueter, died suddenly early last evening, while visiting at the summer residence of her sister, Mrs. H. C. Edgar of Preston, at Dorset. Word of the death of Miss Schlueter, which was attributed to a heart attack, was received locally with a sincere measure of regret. She had formed a large circle of friends. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church and of St. John's Women's Guild. She had been visiting at the summer home of her sister, in Dorset for the past several months. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Edgar, Mrs. H. C. Gooding, Mrs. M. E. Smith, all of Preston, and Mrs. C. A. Woodley of Saskatoon and two brothers, Julius of Anchorage, Ky. and A. S. Schlueter of Preston. The body is resting at the residence, 145 Guelph St., Preston, where a private service will take place Sunday, at 2: 30. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
