  GERBER, Agnes Hutchison (nee Norman) - Daughter of Margaret Dewar and Frank Norman, born in Millbank, Ontario, passed away at Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Ontario, on Thursday, January 3, 2008, in her 99th year. Agnes was predeceased by her husband, Christian Gerber and daughter, Shirley Smelser. She was much loved and will be missed by her daughters, Marguerite Norman and Kathleen Agar. Grandmother of Judy Wood, Barbara Johnson, Dana Norman, Melody Farmer, Stephen Backer (dec.), Rebecca and Shane Young. She will be missed by her only sister, Ardis Hinz, and brother, Bill Norman and her only surviving in- law, Esther Gerber. Predeceased by brothers, Frank, Dewar and Bruce Norman. Agnes will also be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, thirteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at Nithview for their care and kindness over the years. Cremated remains will be buried at Park Lawn Cemetery in Toronto. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in New Hamburg at 65 Boullee St., N3A 1E1 on Saturday, March 1st, 2008 from 1 to 4 p.m. with a Memorial Presentation at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations may be made to the CNIB by contacting Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 519-662-1661 who assisted with arrangements.
