  Mrs. George Haid PRESTON - Mrs. George Haid, formerly of 709 King St., Preston, died Tuesday at Fairview Mennonite Home. Mrs. Haid was the former Irene V. Schaller and was born at Elmira. She resided in Preston all her life. She was a member of St. Clement's RC Church and of the Catholic Women's League and Altar Society. She was predeceased by her husband and by four brothers, William, Harry, Alfred and Leo. Surviving are one son, Sylvester and one daughter, Mrs. Patrick (Audrey) Connolly, both of Preston; one sister, Mrs. Clara Cooper of Kitchener; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home until Friday morning, then will be moved to St. Clement's Church for requiem mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Clement's cemetery.
