  Herbert Runstedler PRESTON, Dec. 10., The death of Herbert Runstedler, 61, occurred at St Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, early today following a serious illness of two weeks. Born atPreston, he resided here the greater part of his life, with the exception of some years spent in Detroit. A machinist, he learned the trade at the former BallantineCo., Preston and worked for many years at the Preston Woodworking Machinery Co. He was past patriarch of the Preston Lodge LO.O.F. and was a member of the Victory Encampment and the Preston Horticultural Society. He was very active in horticultural work. He attended St. Paul's United Church. Surviving are his wife, the former May Ethelle Cress; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Grimwood, Preston, Mrs. Wilfred Weir ofWhitney and Barbara at home; two sons, James of Ayr and John of Brantford; two sisters, Margaret and Mrs. Edward O'Neill of Preston; two brothers, Fred of Windsor and Albert of Detroit. The remains are resting at the Stager-Pass Ltd., Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Thursday, at 2: 30 p.m. Interment will be made in the Preston Cemetery.
