- Catharine Reichert, "was born May 15th, 1811. On April 30th, 1844, she was married to John Master. They resided in Wilmot Township, west of New Dundee, many years. At present they reside in Berlin and have their home with his son, Isaac. They have no family."

The Late Mrs. John Master
One after another, the old landmarks are passing away from amongst us and on Sunday there joined the ranks of the departed, Catharine Reichard, relict of the late John Master, at the ripe old age of nearly 87 years. The subject of our sketch was born in Wilmot Township on May 15th, 1841, and her marriage to Mr. Master (as his second wife) took place April 30th, 1841. There was no issue from this marriage. In 1891 the already aged couple removed to Berlin where, in the family of his son, Isaac Master, ex-M.P.P., they spent the evening of their days in comfort and ended their lived in peace. The husband of the now deceased died in September, 1895.
The funeral takes place on Wednesday as per announcement elsewhere in this issue.

In Berlin, on Sunday, April 3rd, 1898, Catharine Reichard, relict of the late John Master, aged 86 years and 10 months. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 6th, at 11 a.m., from the residence of the late Isaac Master, to Blenheim cemetery for .

DEATH OF MRS. MASTER. - Catharine Reichert, relict of the late John Master, died at the residence of the late Isaac Master, Berlin, last Sunday, aged 86 years, 10 months, and 19 days. She was born in Wilmot Township, and was married to John Master in 1844. They resided west of Dundee for many years, and afterwards moved to Plattsville. In 1891 the aged couple moved to Berlin where they spent the evening of their days with their son, Registrar Master.. The husband of the deceased died in September 1895. The funeral was held on Wednesday (yesterday), and the remains taken to Blenheim cemetery for interment.
