  Sylvester Kanmacher PRESTON, Sylvester J. Kanmacher, 41 Hamilton St., Preston, died yesterday afternoon, at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt. He had been in poor health for sometime. Mr. Kanmacher was born in Preston and had spent all his life in town. He was an accountant at Eastern Steel Products, Ltd., for a number of years. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and was also a member of the church council. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kanmacher. Surviving are his wife, the former Hilda Canning, one son, Gordon of Preston, one brother Harold of Preston, and one sister, Mrs. David (Myrtle) Steven, of Beamsville. Three grandchildren. The body will be at the Stager-Barthel Funeral Home, until Thursday noon, when removal will be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, for the funeral, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Preston cemetery. Rev.
