      At the General Hospital, a well-known and highly respected resident of Guelph, after an illness of two weeks' duration. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew McRobbie, Puslinch Township pioneers, born on the homestead over 77 years ago. He moved to Guelph twenty-four years ago and was employed for six years as night watchman at Crowe's Iron Works and for the last eighteen years, in the same capacity with the Taylor-Forbes Co. Ltd. He was a life-long Liberal in politics and a Presbyterian. He leaves his wife; one son, William of Guelph; one daughter, Mrs. John Evans of Galt; two brothers and two sisters, James, on the homestead in Puslinch; Rev. Gilbert of Hamilton; Mrs. James Stevenson of Port Elgin; and Mrs. Harbottle of Beverly. The funeral took place on Friday at 2: 30 to Woodlawn Cemetery.
