      PRESTON June 12 - Succumbing to pleurisy following a heart attack three weeks ago, Gustav L. Pelz 73., passed away in Galt hospital yesterday. Mr. Pelz was born near Hamilton but had been a resident of Preston for the past 60 years. He had been connected with the local police force for the past 25 years and for ten years prior to that had been a county constable

      He is survived by his wife. Agnes Holtzhauer, three sons, W. J. Pelz and Edward of Preston and Charles in Galt, three daughters. Mrs. Godfrey Hughes, London, Ont., Victoria, at home and Mrs. A. Yates. Galt: one brother. F.O Pelz. Preston, and one sister. Mrs H. Zinn, Galt.
