    • Weissenburg
Mr. Jos. Lehman of Preston was found frozen on the premises of Mr. Jos. Meyer, last Sunday morning. Mrs. Lehman had been attending her sick mother at Weissenburg for some time past and Mr. Lehman started out from Preston to pay them a visit. He managed to reach Guelph by rail, but as the line west of Guelph was snow-bound, he undertook the remainder of his journey on foot. It is supposed that he became fatigued. He was found dead near the house of Mr. Js. Meyer on Sunday morning, having with him a quantity of wearing apparel for his wife and child which he had intended to deliver to them. He was only about 1/4 mile from his destination. The deceased was about 43 years of age and was a son of Mr. Martin Lehman.
