Notes |
- Sad Death - On Sunday morning the late Israel Good passed away at the home of his father-in-law, Mr. Jacob b. Keller, Yonge street. The deceased was a comparatively young man being only 32 years of age. Some years ago he went west and being a quiet, sober and industrious young man he soon worked himself up, being a plumber by trade. Before long he was taken in as partner in a large plumbing firm, in Regina. A few years ago, he returned home for a couple months' vacation, when he was united in marriage to Miss (Bertha) Keller, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Keller of this town. This year he again took advantage of the Christmas Eastern Excursions to visit his mother and friends, little thinking that he would not return. His wife and daughter had come down a month previous. A couple of months ago he was taken suddenly ill and an operation was performed from which he never recovered, although everything that doctors and kind friends could do was done to try and save his life. Besides a sorrowing widow and young daughter, he is survived by his mother Mrs. George Good, one sister, Elsie at home, three brothers, Sylvester and Oscar, of St. Jacobs, and John, of Teeswater, who mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate husband, father, son and brother. They have the heartfelt sympathy of a large circle of friends in their sad bereavement. The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon from the home of J. B. Keller.
