    • Elijah J. Duck was a well known Preston druggist, born in the village of Morpeth. He graduated from the Ontario College of Pharmacy in 1881 and purchased a pharmacy business in Preston that same year. He continued to operate it until 1937. He served on Preston town council, he moved to Paris after his retirement.
