  Judge rules Bauman will stand trial on first-degree murder in two local deaths WATERLOO REGION Glenn Bauman will stand trial on first-degree murder in the deaths of his common-law wife and her teenage daughter. In his ruling Friday, Justice Craig Parry said there was sufficient evidence for Bauman to stand trial in the deaths of the Wellesley Township woman and her daughter. Bauman, 44, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of committing an indignity to a body. He appeared in a Kitchener courtroom to hear the judge's lengthy oral judgment. Bauman was clean-shaven, wearing jeans and a sweater and had glasses. He showed no visible reaction when Parry committed him to stand trial. Bauman's common-law wife, Linda Daniel, 47, and her daughter, Cheyenne Daniel, 13, were reported missing by family in December 2015. They were last seen in July 2011.
