    • JOHN PFEIFFER

      Preston. May 19— Well known in this district through a lifetime of residence, John Pfeiffer died at St. Mary's Hospital. at 3: 30 yesterday afternoon. The late Mr. Pfeiffer, who was in his 90th year, was born in Limerick, near Preston and with the exception of a few years, lived all his life in Preston and the immediate district. He had been ailing for several weeks and was confined to the hospital for two days, prior to his death. The late Mr. Pfeiffer followed the trade of a machinist and toolmaker for many years and for the past 20 years had lived retired. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Clare Bros., for 35 years, at Goldie & McCulloch, Galt, for 20 years and at the Stamped Enamel Hespeler, for two years. Deceased was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Preston.
