- JOHN JAMES HALLER
PRESTON, Feb. 27, John James Haller, Church street, Preston, died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Sunday, the result of a stroke suffered Friday. Mr. Haller, who was 72 years of age, was born in Preston and had resided here all his life. In late years the deceased was a tea and coffee agent. Until 1909, he conducted the flour and feed business in Preston, originated by his father, the late Joseph Haller. A member of St. Clement's R.C. church he was also a member of the C.M.B.A. and the Holy Name Society of that church. His wife predeceased him in 1933. Surviving are two sons, Joseph and Anthony, both of Detroit and one daughter, Mrs. A. C. Ion of London, Ont. The remains will be at the Gordon Pass Funeral Home, 538 King Street, Preston, until Wednesday, when requiem high mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's church at 9 a.m. Interment will be in the R.C. cemetery, Preston.
