  George Bomes George Bomes, 71, died Saturday at his residence, 369 Frederick St. Born July 8, 1875, in Preston, he was a son of the late Minnie Place and Henry Bomes. Mr. Bomes was a teamster in Preston for many years. Surviving are two brothers, William of Maywood, Calif., and John of Preston; also a sister, Mrs. Charles Herman of Preston. Memorial services were held from the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home at 3: 30 p.m. today with Rev. John Schmieder officiating. Interment was made In Preston Cemetery.
