      PRESTON - Mrs. Allen Kinder, 453 Duke St., Preston, died today in South Waterloo Hospital, Galt. She was 82.

      She had lived in Preston all her life, and was a member of St. John's Anglican Church. Her husband predeceased her in 1948. Mrs. Kinder was formerly Maude Gerster.

      Surviving are one son, James of Streetsville; six daughters, Mrs. Ellen Dickinson, Preston; Mrs. H. J. (Ruth) Jacobi, Barrie: Mrs. Roy (Grace) Robertson and Mrs. Stuart (Dolly) Hall, both of Galt; Mrs. Cecil (Esther) Walker, Lockport, N.Y.; Mrs. Mary Rhind, St. Catharines; also one brother, John of Lomita, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Smith of Galt and Mrs. David Hill, Stratford.

      Mrs. Kinder is survived also by 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

      The body is at the Stager-Barthel Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted at St. John's Anglican Church Wednesday at 3 p.m. Interment will be made in Park Lawn Cemetery. Rev. C. E. Ladds will officiate.
