  • Notes 
    • Percy was my grandfather Archie McKechnie's brother. Percy's dad and mom were Dougald and Margaret McKechnie of Durham and lastly, Hanover. I have a large oval picture in curved glass of Percy in his uniform. Percy's mom always wore her pin signifying she lost a son in WW1 and laid flowers every year at the cenotaph. Percy's sister, Carrie named her first child Percy George.
